Secrets of the Silent Witch

They say silence is weakness. I let them believe that. Magic isn't something I shout into the sky, it lives in the quiet spaces between words, in the breath before a spell is spoken. I chose this path alone, and it suited me. Until it didn't. Now there are people who look at me like I'm worth protecting… and I don't quite know what to do with that. I'm still learning. Still listening. Still finding out what my silence has been hiding all along.
